Why we built HealthBuddy
Every day, millions of people face the same anxious moment: something feels wrong, and they don't know what it means or what to do next. Expert clinical reasoning — the kind that weighs symptoms, history and vitals to narrow down what is likely — has long been locked behind long waits, high costs and uneven access.
We started HealthBuddy to change that. By combining modern AI with rigorous, explainable clinical logic, we give people and clinicians a structured first read on their symptoms: the possible conditions, the tests worth considering, and the right kind of specialist to see. Not to replace doctors — to help everyone arrive better informed.
Founded by engineers from IIT Delhi and IIT BHU, our team blends deep AI/ML expertise with a product mindset shaped by real clinical workflows. Today that vision spans a connected ecosystem: the Clinical Reasoning Engine for individuals, YHB Pro for clinics and hospitals, and the Care Network that connects people to the care around them.
